Its supposed to be an honor to be selected to serve, but it seems like a lot of people forget the honor and forget that they were selected and forget that they’re supposed to serve. Its supposed to be a family, but it seems like a lot of people just feel like its a band club.
To this day I feel like Kappa Kappa Psi is something big and important and honorable and shiny. I take the ideals and qualities that I am supposed to have as a Brother, and they’re on my list of WHO I NEED TO ASPIRE TO BE right there next to the ideals and qualities that I am supposed to have as a Christian. You know? I don’t think other people feel that way though. Is K-Psi important like that to most people? Maybe I’m just a freak? But I dont think so.
Seems like so many people just don’t give a damn about anything anymore. is there any way to help make new members feel that same magic I felt? I mean, I walked into initiation and it was like WOW – I felt like I’d been electrocuted, and I still feel it whenever I’m able to go to a good rit.
